In our fast paced modern life it is all to easy to start the day without allowing time for God to speak to us. The to-do list never seems to end and we never have enough time.
A life giving routine we have found to be very fruitful is starting our day with God. Pausing the never ending to-do list and focusing on God and his word brings clarity into our lives. We need and encourage Men of every age group to participate.
Every man has something to add to the discussion. The youth need the wisdom and encouragement of those older, those in the middle group still remember the lessons of their youth and can encourage and guide the young men who are walking those same paths, and the older men can guide and encourage those younger with the sage wisdom that comes with experiencing God everyday in your life.
As a group, we strive to live out lives that honor and praise God through the incorporation of Godly Virtus in our everyday actions, words, and thoughts. At the heart of this idea resides a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, the aspect we take most seriously. Our men’s group is devoted to one another in providing support as each individual continues along their walk of faith. The strongest desire of this group is that each man individually grows in relationship with Christ, as well as in relationship with a group of encouraging men who have same goal in mind.
The importance of learning alongside others amidst laughter and friendship is often overlooked. Our men’s group focuses on providing faith growth opportunities throughout the week during which each man has the chance to be surrounded with joy and fellowship centered around growing closer to God. These weekly occasions are open to anyone interested, and all men are invited and highly encouraged to attend! Some of our regular meetings include:
